- $47.62 per hour + Penalties

ABOUT THE POSITION
The PRODUCTION FORKLIFT DRIVER / all-rounder will be responsible for assisting with the filling and re -locating filled drums, load and unload trucks, operating forklifts as well as quality assurance.
Duties & responsibilities Include, but are not limited to:
• filling drums of manufactured products / batch identification
• loading and unloading trucks
• quality assurance and product identification
• Observe and report hazards identified throughout the course of performing duties
• Ensure work areas kept tidy and safe
• Manual handling tasks & Material handling
• Maintain stock levels of frequently used materials
• Store returned items in a tidy manner within storage areas
• Provide direction to suppliers, deliveries and contractors when required
• Other duties as required
To be considered for this role, applicants MUST:
- Forklift Licence and experience A MUST
- Have problem solving skills to make decisions
- High attention to detail
- Self motivated and be able to work autonomously
- Ability to work individually and part of a team
- Be available to work Monday - Friday with overtime where required
- Must be physically fit (as manual handling will be involved)
- Be Reliable and Punctual
- Have own reliable transportation.
- Be available to commence ASAP
- Have all relevant PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) including Steel Cap boots / High Visibility Clothing (any other required PPE will be advised)
- Ability to satisfactorily complete a pre-employment Drug & Alcohol test and Criminal Check
This position will provide stability and a full time permanent position with ongoing support for the successful applicants
