We are currently looking for a Production Manager (Manufacturing) to join our team in Sydney.
Key accountability:
- Develop and implement production plans to meet customer demand while optimizing resource utilization.
- Planning details of production activities in terms of output quality and quantity, cost, time available and labour requirements
- Implement lean manufacturing principles and best practices to streamline operations and reduce waste.
- Monitoring production output and costs and adjusting processes and resources to minimize costs.
- Maintain quality control procedures to ensure that all products meet or exceed industry standards.
- Controlling the preparation of production records and reports
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment for all employees.
- Overseeing the acquisition and installation of new plant and equipment
- Work closely with the procurement team to coordinate material ordering and replenishment activities.
- At least 2 years’ work experience.
- Bachelor's academic qualifications.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality control standards.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with a track record of effectively leading and developing teams.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
The role offers a remuneration package $90,000 p.a + superannuation for a 38-hour work week.
