We are looking for energetic & reliable Production Operators to take our production team to the next level.
About the role
An exciting opportunity has become available for a number of Production Operators to join our great Production Team. Reporting to Line Leaders, you will be responsible for production activities, making product, packing product, manual handling, and following set production schedules. During your work you will also be required to ensure that you maintain production standards, while working towards improving productivity without compromising Picasso Foods standards.
Your main functions will include but not limited to:
- Working on the production line and meeting production targets, with speed and accuracy
- Assisting in the manufacturing process
- Following health and safety standards
- Maintaining a clean and tidy environment
- Assembling product to produce quality outcomes
- Operating and maintaining equipment on the production line
- Monitoring the assembly line and removing poor quality product
- Reporting any issues to the Supervisor on shift
- Maintaining hygiene (GMP) standards
- Adhering to Food Safety (HACCP) standards
- Performing other tasks assigned
To be a success in this role you will have:
- Minimum 1 years’ experience in a similar role in the FMCG industry
- Food Production experience
- Knowledge of HACCP requirement on the production floor
- GMP understanding
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Physical dexterity
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Awareness of Food & People Safety
- Ability to communicate around tasks allocated
- Ability to communicate with Team members and work as a Team
