THE OPPORTUNITY
Located at our Manufacturing facility based at St Agnes, Antelco is looking for a Production & Warehouse Team Member (Assembler) to join our committed Operations team. Reporting to the Production Manager, this position involves working as part of our collaborative manufacturing and Warehouse Team to assemble and package products for our trade and retail customer base.
This is a permanent full-time opportunity working day shift (6:30am to 3:00pm Monday to Thursday and 6:30am to 1:00pm Fridays), no overtime required.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manufacture & assemble of goods to the customers’ requirements
- Operating automatic & hand assembly machines
- Pack orders for dispatch according to schedule & worksheets (check, pack, load, label, ship)
- Perform QA checks & use test equipment in accordance with SOP's
- Maintain clean work area & general housekeeping duties
- Collaborate with Team Members & other departments
- Participate in training for specific items of plant & equipment
- Strict adherence to safety rules & contributing to a safe working environment
- Essential – Problem solving and inquisitive mindset to learn Antelco products
- Essential – Strength and physical fitness to undertake a frequent movement and lifting role
- Desirable - Previous experience operating manufacturing equipment
- Advantageous - Forklift license and warehousing experience
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
- Willingness to enhance the customer experience by working with enthusiasm, energy, and pace
