Our Client
Our client is a world leading manufacturer of submarine battery systems. They have grown their business by supplying lead acid, nickel zinc and lithium battery system solutions to Australia, Canada, the United Kingdom, and other international customers.
About the Opportunity
We are currently seeking experienced Manufacturing/Production/Trade Assistant Workers who are looking for casual employment working 38 hours a week. Possibility of day and afternoon shifts with a potential for permanency depending on production requirements and performance.
The Role:
- Production of Lead products.
- Ensuring all products are produced to specification.
- Adhere to high WH&S procedures including use of protective clothing like overalls, disposable overshoes, and respirators.
- Adhering to strict quality control measures.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
To be considered for these positions, you will have:
- Competent with hand and power tools, previous production experience.
- Mechanically minded with welding and grinding experience
- Be physically fit and healthy.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.
- A proactive approach to safety in the workplace.
To be successful you MUST HAVE:
- Australian Citizens only.
- Australian Drivers Licence (Current) and reliable vehicle.
- Ability to pass a police check, a pre-employment medical and Drug & Alcohol screen.
