About the role
The Production Worker is accountable for manufacturing the production of muesli products including granolas, bars, balls etc. from loading in raw ingredients to bagging the finished product in bulker bags for Food for Health and Grain & Bake Co; in addition, end of shift handover to the next shift’s team members.
Reporting directly to our Manufacturing Manager. This role is working with an energized team who appreciate the importance of getting the job done while having fun at work.
This role will be working afternoon shift from 2pm to 10pm.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate previous experience in the following:
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience as an oven operator or equivalent
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience working in a food environment
- Attention to detail
- Product quality checks and control
- Must have current driver’s licence
- Must have current forklift licence
- Strong communication skills – both written and verbal
- Problem solving skills
- Organizational skills
About you
You are a “can do” person and nothing is ever too hard because you love a challenge! You have proven experience in the manufacturing industry and can demonstrate a strong attention to detail.
Ideally the successful candidate will have:

- Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently
- Ability to follow directions and specific company processes
- Must have a professional attitude and be well presented with good personal hygiene
- Ability to work as a team and autonomously

- Must be able to multitask and work well under pressure
- Must be able to maintain confidentiality
- Must develop and maintain positive working relationships with stakeholders
- Trouble shoot basic equipment problems
- Understand warehouse safety requirements including pedestrians and shared zones
- Pre-operational equipment checks
- Solid understanding of OH&S requirements
- Microsoft Office Suite – basic use
