AddressAPG Workforce are currently seeking Production Workers for a well-known brand providing high-quality Asian noodles and sauces to Australian homes and supermarkets based in Auburn!
The Role:
Start time: 6:00am – 1:00pm morning shift, may also be afternoon shift 2pm – 9pm, Saturdays and OT required in peak season.
Tasks and duties
- Learn all tasks on production line – from mixing to packing, palletising
- Maintaining a high standard of safety and hygiene in the workplace.
- Preparing and maintaining production reports and records.
- Operating machinery and maintaining equipment
- Following set production schedules and targets
- Performing corrective actions when production quality is not met.
- Packing and repacking items when necessary.
- Report faults or production issues to the Manager
- Maintain high standard of personal hygiene
- Previous experience as a production worker
- Good understanding of how production equipment works
- Ability to detect potential problems with machinery
- Knowledge of basic safety rules
- Ability to lift heavy loads and transfer them manually
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Team player
- Forklift experience and high reach license, (favourable)
- Proficient in English (spoken and written)
- Must have a Police check or willing to obtain
- Physically fit (some heavy lifting involved with raw materials)
- Completed relevant vocation studies in food manufacturing
- Full Australian Work Rights
- Proven STRONG history of production background
