About The Job
CoreStaff are seeking Timber Production Workers with a mechanical aptitude and machine operating experience, working with manufacturing components and assembly of trusses, based in the Launceston area.
You will be responsible for undertaking a variety of tasks that includes but not limited to;
- Efficient running of the production areas
- Manual labour
- Identifying and reporting hazards
- Forklift operation (if licensed, but not essential)
- 100% compliance with the companies OH&S standards
In order to be considered for employment you must:
- Have the ability to undertake manual labouring tasks
- Demonstrate practical knowledge of safety in the workplace
- Work hard and reliably contribute to a team
- Display practical literacy/numeracy skills
- Hold a current drivers license (P1 or higher) and have your own transport
- Prior experience working in the Timber Industry environment or factory role is desirable but not necessary, full training will be provided
Rostered hours will fall between Monday and Friday, generally starting between 6am to 7:30am with occasional weekend work available.
Any offer of employment will be subject to a full medical including a drug & alcohol screen.
