Program Financial Specialist

***ACT ONLY – BASELINE CLEARANCE REQUIRED***A leading organization is on the lookout for a Program Financial Specialist to enhance our Technology Group’s financial and reporting practices. This critical role will involve developing effective financial frameworks and providing precise and timely financial and resource information across a range of projects and procurement areas.Key Duties:

• Develop and implement financial and reporting frameworks to support accurate financial management and resource allocation.
• Analyze project financial data, prepare forecasts, and monitor spending to provide actionable insights for budget optimization.
• Collaborate with project management teams to gather and analyze financial information, ensuring accurate reporting and decision support.
• Work closely with internal teams to improve financial processes and systems, ensuring data integrity and efficient operations.

Essential Criteria:

• Demonstrated expertise in financial analysis and interpretation to support strategic decision-making.
• Strong skills in financial modeling and budget forecasting, with a track record of providing actionable budget management insights.
• Effective communication abilities, capable of presenting complex financial information to diverse audiences.
• Proficient in managing financial databases and systems, with a keen eye for auditing and resource capacity tracking.

Highly Desirable:

• Experience with financial and resource management software such as TechOne, Aurion, SAP, Concur.
• Relevant academic background in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or significant professional experience (5 years).
• Knowledge of project management tools like DevOps, Jira, GitHub, Confluence.
• An approachable personality, adept at guiding teams and ensuring the accuracy of financial information for project assessments.
