This position will be dual-hatted:
As the Risk Manager you will assist in the development and execution of a standardized, Enterprise-level Risk/Issue/Opportunity (R/I/O) Management process on a Multisourcing Service Integration (MSI) contract operating in an IT Ecosystem of Cloud Hosting, Desktop, Networks, Cyber Security, and Operations & Maintenance (Tier 2), and Incident Service Desk Service Provider contracts. The risk management process focuses on R/I/Os that could directly cause impact to Mission and the delivery of Ecosystem IT services. These can include both technical and non-technical R/I/Os such as cross-Service Provider integration, IT Service Management (ITSM) process performance, resource priorities, schedule delays, facilities and customer satisfaction. The Risk Manager assesses, analyzes, and proposes mitigations while managing the creation, tracking, and closure of R/I/Os related to the successful completion and/or delivery of a U.S. Government IT Service Provider product or services.
The Program Scheduler is responsible for interfacing professionally and efficiently with external clients and internal technical and administrative staff at varied levels of experience and authority. The Scheduler provides detailed and accurate schedule reports and data sets with short turnaround times and is familiar with work breakdown structures. The Scheduler develops and manages schedules, aggregates schedules from other IT Service Ecosystem Service Provider (SP) contracts, and prepares and explains performance metrics in conjunction with Project Managers. They meet with project teams, change managers, and service integrators, as required, in development of baseline schedules, updates and recovery schedules. The Scheduler assists the project team in tracking and updating schedules from inception to completion of the project.
Risk Manager Responsibilities:
Provides process support and/or leadership in the creation and delivery of R/I/Os statements and handling plans
Facilitates Risk Management efforts (i.e., risk identification, assessment, and mitigation planning) for all product IPTs
Facilitates and/or briefs multiple meetings or forums weekly and/or monthly
Communicates risk posture and projects information to stakeholders
Drives effective teamwork, communication, collaboration, and commitment across multiple disparate groups with competing priorities
Communicates project issues and status in a concise, accurate, and professional manner
Remains flexible to changing priorities, is open to new ideas, and has the ability to multitask and change focus quickly, if necessary
Program Scheduler Responsibilities:
Routinely monitors and provides awareness of schedule milestones deliverables for all project phases
Creates, monitors, and analyzes project schedules in accordance with Government standards of best practice
Organizes, implements, and maintains scheduling management system supporting identified projects and their plans
Assists to set up tasks and sub tasks to ensure satisfactory realization of project contract requirements as scheduled
Interacts with customer and project staff to schedule work and coordinate assignments
Maintains and assists with project schedule
Interacts with project team and task managers to define scope of work to develop and update detailed schedules, cost information, and identification of variances from original plan
Evaluates project schedule progress and performance and identify developing problem areas
Analyzes critical path and constraints to determine effect of changes to schedule and recommend work-around
Develops and updates weekly short interval schedules working with project managers, engineers, and other Government stakeholders
Supports Service Providers to maintain timely and effective Change Management processes, procedures, and systems
Conducts analysis to determine alternative courses of action or recovery on slipped schedules
Assists Service Provider teams to develop and maintain periodic status reports to keep management informed on program progress
Identifies and communicates significant schedule risks to staff and management team
Documents identified project risks, mitigations, and outcomes based on input from teams
Required Qualifications:
An Active TS/SCI Clearance with Polygraph
A Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science Degree or 8 years of relevant experience, to include 3-5 years in Risk Management and or Schedule Management
ITIL V4 Foundations
Ability to interact comfortably with Senior Government Leadership and Team members on a day-to-day basis
Ability to create project documentation
Problem solver with excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (SharePoint, Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint essential)
This position is in a Remote OCONUS location and a medical and psychological evaluation will be required
This position requires a 2 yrs OCONUS tour
