Our studio is light-filled, located in the heart of Sydney CBD, with views of the Harbour Bridge, close to trains, buses, and ferries. We have onsite showers for those who enjoy riding or running to work or going for a lunchtime run. Your will love our studio, with collaborative and focused spaces, sit-to-stand desks, large sunny-filled windows, and large beautiful common areas for connecting, especially over lunch each day we are in. We believe in Hybrid working, offering 2 days a week WFH (Wednesdays and Fridays) for a balance of in-person connection and collaboration, and focus time.
Project Designer / Architect

We are looking for an experienced Project Architect or Designer to take a leading role in our projects.
You will work closely with Directors and Senior Associates leading the project and play a leading role on projects, being involved throughout the project at all stages from briefing and design stages to construction, managing consultant coordination, project meetings and mentoring and guiding others.
We are looking for people who love what they do, take pride in their work, and enjoy working in collaborative and friendly environments. We are a truly international practice, welcoming team members with experience and qualifications from across the globe. As you will be playing a senior role in the projects, you will need at least 2+ years’ experience on Australian-based projects. Experience in technical project areas like health, labs, data centers with mission-critical services will also be highly regarded.
As we work in a highly technical area, we need people who take great pride in their work and have the ability to work through technical drawings and buildings with complex service coordination. This means you need to have great attention to detail and think through things. As a Revit-based studio, you will need to have a high level of competency in Revit, from setting up projects to construction detailing.
About you:

We are looking for experienced Architect / Designers who can apply their strong design, design development, and construction knowledge to something technical and inspiring.
You will need to have proven experience in all project phases and coordinating consultants.
Ideally, you will have;

• 7+ years of Architectural Experience
• Min 2 years of experience working on Australian projects with a strong understanding of construction methods and building codes
• Strong level of technical/construction knowledge
• Demonstrated high level of expertise in Revit
• Demonstrated experience in developing and delivering designs from briefing to project handover
• Demonstrated experience in working with Project Managers and Consultants as part of a larger design team
• Excellent communication skills and ability to proactively communicate with clients, consultants, and internal team members
• Experience and involvement in client and consultant relationship management
• Capacity to work as part of a team with the ability to work autonomously as required
• Experience working in complex building typologies from sectors like Health, Labs, and Data Centres will be highly regarded
• Rendering (Enscape, Lumion) and Photoshop skills will also be highly regarded

We will review resumes and folios and contact candidates with the relevant skills and experience for a quick phone conversation to gain better insights into you, your skills and experience, and your interest in the role.
