About the position
The Project Change Coordinator will provide organisational, administrative and communications support for projects currently underway within the Digital Transformation Branch in the Department of Parliamentary Services (DPS).
The position holder will work closely with Project Managers and Change Managers to deliver one or more projects, often to demanding timescales. You will prepare comprehensive action plans, including resources, timeframes, budget and the communications required to complete all projects on time and within budget. In order to coordinate the effective change management needed with deployment of services and technology upgrades, the Project Change Coordinator will also be required to liaise extensively with stakeholders including Members, managers, staff and external vendors.
About you
We are looking for and experienced project coordinator with an interest in change management. You should be flexible when situations change, be highly organised, have good attention to detail and excellent communication skills. You will be providing project management support while also supporting change management activities, including stakeholder engagement and delivery training both online and in person. You will also be coordinating travel to regional areas, including flights, car rental and accommodation and should be willing to travel in NSW to Electorate offices if required.
To be successful in this role you will have knowledge of and experience using project management methodologies (including agile) and have highly developed prioritisation and time management skills. Strong communication and high standards of customer service are essential to succeed in this role.
