Project Co-ordinator - Apartment Builder developer

The Position: 

We are seeking a Project Coordinator with experience in Apartment projects. This position offers full-time employment – 5 days per week.

The role is focused on managing and delivering a range of apartment construction projects in accordance with the project scope, budget, and schedule.  

The Project Coordinator will support and deliver projects to the highest of quality, operate with integrity and will keep the needs of its’ clients in mind at all times. The main duties will involve:  

• Working with key stakeholders to understand construction plans and define scope of works.
• Managing all estimating and pricing activities 
• Coordinating multiple estimates simultaneously and defining areas of responsibility 
• Carrying out accurate quantity take-offs and producing bills of quantities  
• Reviewing material and labour requirements and selecting trades based on most cost-effective construction methods.
• Reviewing and approving finalised costs estimates and submitting to clients for selection, including presenting.
• Oversee the engagement of subcontractors in required trades and locations.
• Scheduling works 
• Ordering of materials for projects 
• Approving supplier invoices and invoicing clients 
• Managing services to meet clients’ contracts and expectations.
• Conducting site visits for quality control checks 

What we are looking for: 

• Construction Project Coordination experience 
• Relevant Trade qualification or equivalent (desirable) 
• Highly organised with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
• High energy and eager to learn.
• Excellent time management skills 
• Proficient in systems including Microsoft Project and other Microsoft office applications including Excel and Word 
• Knowledge of a project lifecycle from start to completion 
• The ability to multitask and prioritise tasks.
• Excellent communication skills via phone and in person 
• Agile and can handle working under pressure and respond positively and proficiently with changing schedules/ project demands.
