- Proven experience in a Control Technician role
- Ongoing support, troubleshooting & technical expertise
- Undertaking maintenance activities within defined operating procedures
In the role of Project Control Technician, you will be responsible for all electrical control equipment and systems in major project sites as per specified site requirements. Working across both mechanical and electrical equipment aspects. Reporting on plant conditions and issues. Ensuring company standards and solutions are adhered to. Day to day responsibilities will include:
- Carry out major component changes & field repairs
- Advanced troubleshooting of engines & electrical LV or HV systems
- HV/EHV commissioning
- Providing hands on mechanical & electrical support
- Advanced commissioning of multi MW projects
You will be highly experienced from an operations, technical and support background as this would see you excel in this role and within the company along with the following technical skills and personal attributes:
- Mechanical and Electrical support experience
- Plant automation/SCADA/Electrical protection systems
- Technically driven and focused on quality standards
- Client facing, team player, giving direction and support
- Mechanical or Electrical qualification, hold appropriate letter of electrical authorisation
- Compressor or HV/LV experience highly regarded
