Level 4, SOA, $91,276 - $101,689 pa plus 11% superannuationAbout the JobThe RoleThe Project Controls Officer within the Office of Major Transport Infrastructure Delivery assists in the coordination of infrastructure development projects from concept to delivery and commissioning associated with the expansion and maintenance requirements of the existing urban rail network, including contract management.In this position you will provide Project Controls support in the areas of cost management, schedule management, resource management and project reporting; and also manages low risk projects associated with the expansion and maintenance requirements of the existing Public Transport network.About youThe successful candidates will have well developed communication and interpersonal skills including a demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective working relationships and negotiate required outcomes and/or resolve conflicts.To be considered for this role, you will have:

  • Relevant technical expertise, including:
  • General understanding of Project Controls in particular, cost, schedule, resource management and project reporting.
  • General understanding of project and contract management skills and experience.
  • Relevant project and/or contract management experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in coordinating large infrastructure development projects.
  • Demonstrated conceptual and analytical skills.
