Project Coordinator - Telecommunications

Join our Technology & Communications business and provide project support to our ODM program. Role based in Brisbane.

Our Utilities business works with our customers across Australia and New Zealand to provide the essential services that connect people and communities. We provide a range of end-to-end services and solutions for the utilities sector, encompassing power and gas networks, water and wastewater, telecommunications, metering services, and power, transmission and renewable construction. With extensive in-house capabilities, we offer fully integrated design and construction expertise across the whole asset lifecycle, as well as network operations and asset maintenance.

Our On-Demand Module (ODM) contract is to service both business and commercial customers along with residential applications providing them access to NBN's fixed network across all technologies including FTTP, FTTC, FTTN and HFC. The contract covers NSW, QLD and WA and utilises a schedule of rates model to complete the works. The works include the full survey, design and construction of these customer orders to connect them to the local NBN network.

We have an opportunity for a Project Coordinator to join our team based out of our project office in Milton QLD.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Reporting to the Construction Manager, the role of Project Coordinator is responsible for performing, coordinating and overseeing administrative duties in support of the Project. The performance objectives for the role reflect responsibility for comprehensive assistance and administrative support to the whole program. This includes but is not limited to:

• preparing reports,
• handling information requests,
• preparing correspondence,
• scheduling meetings and perform other duties as assigned.

We are looking for an excellent multi-tasker who can manage conflicting priorities, likes a challenge and genuinely enjoys working with others. You will be versatile and willing to learn outside your comfort zone combined with a strong and persistent approach to resolving problems at a detailed level to meet project requirements.

ABOUT YOU

• Proven project administration experience in a large project team within a large organisation
• Experience in Telecommunications and Construction industries is preferable
• Strong proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Email software, Power Point and SharePoint
• Ability to perform all duties with high degree of accuracy and confidentiality
• Excellent interpersonal communication and people management skills
• Ability to perform & contribute within a team environment
