Project Engineer - Civil

We are currently seeking Civil Project Engineer for a major Tier 1 contractor to join their team to work on major infrastructure projects in Northern NSW. This global leading contractor specialise within the infrastructure sector in Australia, successful in securing ongoing projects in excess of $1 billion with an attractive pipeline of work for the forthcoming years.

As a Project Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

• Liaise with the designers and construction teams to ensure efficient coordination and contract requirements are met. 
• Project planning and proactively resolving technical, commercial and scheduling issues. 
• Cost control, forecasting and keeping the project on budget.
• Ensure that all work is undertaken in alignment with ITPs.
• Subcontractor management.
• Ensure strong compliance to WHS principles.
• Management of junior engineers.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Bachelor degree in engineering or equivalent.
• A minimum of 5 years experience as a Project Engineer is essential, preferably from a tier 1 or tier 2 background.
• Ability to effectively liaise with various teams, clients, and stakeholders in a constructive manner.
