What’s on offer?

We wish to compliment our existing team with an experienced Project Engineer – Civil for our Queensland Utilities requirements. This is a fantastic opportunity for you to drive your career further, and gain industry relevant experience, with on-the-job skill development/coaching offered throughout.

In this role you'll be responsible for:

• Working with our Design Team, Works delivery Team for the management of complex Civil/Mechanical projects

• Development and management of project schedules, updating production plans and working to weekly and monthly schedules

• Assist with the development of Scope of Works and contracts for sub-contractors, managing and approvals of variations

• Design review, issue tender documents, procurement, expediting, site installation and commissioning assistance of civil/mechanical packages

• Attend and participate in HAZOPs, SiD reviews, CHAIR’s and other workshops as required

• Overseeing practical completion documentation

• Manage the quality Lots, and ITP's during construction and commissioning stages.

How you'll connect to the role:

• A degree level qualification in Civil Engineering

• Sound experience in a Project Engineering or senior Project Engineering role

• Experience on construction projects in water infrastructure, including Water Treatment Plants / waste water infrastructure

• Knowledge of project financial management, forecasting, procurement, design and contracts management functions
