To be successful in being shortlisted for this role it is ideal you possess the following:
- Full working rights in Australia
- Civil Engineering Tertiary qualifications (Or similar is a must)
- 2-4 years minimum(local) experience as Graduate to project delivery Site Engineer / Project Engineer, with a reputable Civil engineering/ infrastructure contractor.
PLUS (ideally)
- 1-3 years minimum (local) experience in a client facing / stakeholder management role as Senior Project Engineer or superintendent within a reputable Civil engineering/ infrastructure consultancy environment.
The role will see you:
- Possess 5-7 years (min) total experience post graduate studies.
- Assisting the design process to achieve the client’s requirements and manage expectations.
- Project administration and assisting with tenders to appoint external contractors and consultants.
- Reviewing project plans and specifications, scheduling, cost saving measures, discrepancies, potential construction problems, etc.
- Managing project timelines, risks, and reporting.
- Attending project meetings with clients and consultants - ensuring minutes are recorded.
- Manage documentation throughout the project.
- Managing consultant and contractor engagement.
- Client management and consultation.
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports for competing priorities and projects.
- Strong articulation, communication and presentation skills
