Project Engineer - Pavement Rehababilitation

We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Project Engineer to join our QLD Pavement Rehabilitation team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with the operational management of civil construction projects. Prior experience within the Roads industry will be highly regarded. This role will require some travel to regional locations, including some drive in, drive out work.

ABOUT YOU

• Degree qualification in Engineering/Project Management or related discipline.
• Prior experience working on Roads infrastructure projects.
• A successful track record of proactively building relationships with key clients, stakeholders and developing new business opportunities.
• Demonstrated experience in delivery of civil projects.
• A well-developed understanding of planning, execution and financial reporting of projects.
• Able to express, engage and influence outcomes through high levels of communication and teamwork.
• Able to interpret policy and procedures and ensure the implementation of all relevant health and safety legislation.
• Commitment to quality outcomes with a focus on delivering in full and on time.
• Strong safety focus - actively participate in and support Downer Zero Harm initiatives and strategies.
