About the OPPORTUNITY
We have a new opportunity for a Project Engineering Manager to join our team based in Williamtown NSW, however working from other BAE Systems sites and remote locations will be considered. We embrace flexible work arrangements at BAE Systems Australia, including a 9 day fortnights.
The successful candidate will:
- Conduct and facilitate engineering tasking to appropriate engineering specialists for completion of engineering activities to support the transfer of design scope to Australia in support of aircraft platforms
- Provide engineering advice and technical oversight on the transfer of capability
- Lead the identification and changes needed to enable expansion of the BAE Australia Aerospace engineering management system to support future aircraft activities
- Collaborate effectively with customers, internal and external stakeholders, maintaining a positive work culture
- Oversee the technical aspects of mobilisation and transition to a running system
- Drive culture of engineering best practice, efficiency and continuous improvement
- Related post graduate work experience of 7+ years.
- Relevant experience in design development and review activities, within a quality framework.
- Experience with structures support to aircraft (military preferred).
- Relevant experience in aircraft regulated framework (e.g DASA).
- Experience with relevant engineering tools to support design.

Please note: you must be an Australian Citizen to apply for a security clearance. In addition to this, International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) are applicable and as such, candidate nationality may be a factor in determining your suitability for this role. .
