Opportunity for a Project HR Manager to join the team at a Tier 1 contractor and work on one of Australias most high profile and complex infrastructure projects
As the Project HR Manager you will provide leadership across the Human Resources , Industrial Relations, Training, Learning & Development Payroll, Travel and General Services functions – managing an established and committed team
This a crucial role in ensuring the effective management of project's human capital and support services, working closely with the senior leadership team and also directly interfacing with the client
Project location requires relocation or FIFO
Responsibilities of the Project HR Manager include
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with project goals, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and performance management.
- Support your IR Manager to manage labor relations, including negotiation and compliance with labor laws and union agreements.
- Identify training needs, design programs, and promote professional development to enhance the skills of our workforce.
- Oversee payroll team, ensuring compliance with payroll laws and regulations.
- Work with your travel to team to coordinate and optimize travel arrangements for project personnel.
- Ensure adherence to HR, IR, and legal requirements, fostering a fair and inclusive workplace.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Extensive experience in HR and IR roles within the construction industry, including mega infrastructure projects.
- Proficient in using Office Suite software and previous experience in HR database software
- Knowledge of SAP SuccessFactors is a plus
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices, labor laws, and relevant regulations.
