We are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our HBT TAM (Total Asset Management) team based onsite and Mater Hospital.  Reporting to the Honeywell Facility Manager your focus will be the successful delivery of your assigned projects.  Utilising your Project Management experience, you monitor and control financials, schedule, and track work, manage resources and stakeholders to see projects through to completion.  

What You’ll do:

Maintain overall responsibility for the delivery of complex projects to the required quality, schedule, and budget. Undertake detailed planning and scheduling of the project and manage resource allocation. Participate in estimate review process prior to jobs or contracts being quoted to ensure labour estimates are correct and that the work is achievable from a technical perspective. Ensure the design solution is fit for purpose in meeting the project requirements with the lowest cost of delivery. Ensures delivery of projects on time, within scope with zero or positive deviation. Manage the contractual requirements of the project to ensure Honeywell’s exposure is minimised and controlled through timely responses and internal escalation. Manage project contracts including development of contracts/scopes of work, valuing/certifying payments, valuing variations, accepting finished works, and resolving and negotiating disputes with subcontractors and clients. Contractual compliance - have in-depth knowledge of the site Contract and ensure that all work assigned to self and others is done in a compliant manner. Produce and maintain appropriate project management documentation including project plan, communication plan, project reports, implementation plans, project schedules and meeting agendas/minutes. Track the projects progress and prepare monthly progress claims and project reports for submission to the client. Maintain customer satisfaction, developing trust and managing the relationship with customers, ensuring a shared understanding of key issues between all parties is maintained. Promptly resolve customer issues. Deliver to the financial objectives, maintain accurate financial forecasts, estimates to complete, schedules, JML, and labour profiles. Control costs and maximise productivity through the implementation of effective methods, standard processes, and engagement of Supply Chain team.

YOU MUST HAVE

High level of project management experience and working within complex environments is preferred, with excellent communications skills and the Tertiary or post trade qualifications in Project Management, business, facility management or a related discipline or demonstrate equivalent level of experience (preferred) At least 3 years work Project management experience (required) Trades/services qualification/background Experience working in a health or research facility (preferred) Thorough knowledge of leading and developing projects, field operation and financial management Construction / Building Legislation knowledge (required)

Required Licenses, Accreditations / clearances / statutory requirements.

Be able to obtain and maintain a National Police Check

·        Be able to obtain and maintain Working with Children Check

·        Full driver’s license

·        Be fully vaccinated and maintain full vaccination for COVID-19
