The Opportunity:
The JLL Project & Development Services (PDS) team provides development management, project planning, feasibility, procurement, design, and construction management services within the Australian market.
The effective management of all phases of smaller projects, from initial establishment to handover & project closure, to a premium client base across the commercial, retail, hotel, Government, Defence and industrial property sectors.
We seek an experienced on-site construction Project Manager to join our high-performing Project & Development Services (PDS). Based at ACT, your integral part of the team will be to ensure that JLL will successfully continue to deliver exceptional services to our clients.
About you:
Your professional communication, high organisational skills, and outstanding project management skills will see you succeed in this role. In addition, you will also have the following.
Leadership Acumen with an exceptional personal presentation, being astute and perceptive of client's needs. With the emotional maturity to effectively manage diverse personalities.
You will have a proactive and flexible approach with varied stakeholders to ensure the client and projects are managed following contractual obligations.
You lead by example to adopt and champion operational procedures.
A high level of PM experience in overseeing subcontractors managing upgrades, capital works, and fit-outs.
Partaking in monthly or weekly stakeholder meetings, including compiling and presenting detailed reports and maintaining administrative recordkeeping.
It is a requirement that candidates are Australian Citizens and get an appropriate baseline security clearance.
An overview of the role:
You will bring your professionalism and experience to manage the day-to-day operations, which include
Project managing on-site project milestones through to delivery by ensuring project milestones are delivered on time, on budget, and within the scope.
Consultative partnering with subcontractors and other relevant stakeholders to maxise contributions of all participants.
Management and coordination of contractors' activity of works undertaken on-site.
A high level of administration to ensure monthly project deliverables are completed. Including project delivery plans, monthly status reports, anticipated cost reports, and management of the completion of the project closeout, including financial closeout.
Sound like you? This is what we're looking for:
Experience working on varied projects occurring at various locations across the ACT.
You have a minimum of three years of on-site experience in roles such as construction, fit-outs, foreman or site manager role. Tertiary qualification in Building & Construction or a related discipline will be highly regarded.
Have worked on high profiles client sites, understanding the management of primary contractors and subcontracting process. Previous experience with shopfitting and fit-outs will be highly regarded.
Strong administrative skills focused on highly organised project planning, resourcefulness, and attention to detail.
