As the
Project Manager you will be tasked in Identifying, Scoping, tendering, and managing the delivery of work required to address process failures and refurbishing ageing assets in one of our treatment facilities.You will support operational responses to scoping questions and requests while coordinating recommissioning of refurbished or repaired assets as required. You will demonstrate your capacity for planning maintenance works to coincide with plant operating constraints and to meet critical deadlines around shutdown windows.Planning, communication, and negotiation skills are key to being successful in this role as you manage relationships with stakeholders, consultants, contractors, and co-workers.You will have the opportunity to build on your project management experience and expand your skill set by managing a multi-disciplined project while having the opportunity to get your boots on the ground at the plant.
Key skills and experienceThis opportunity is ideal for experienced
Project Managers with experience within an operational environment looking for their next challenge.
- Engineering qualification in Electrical, Mechanical or Civil
- Extensive project management experience including leading all phases of asset creation projects
- Understanding of tendering and contract award processes
- Proficiency in contract administration
- ‘C’ Class Driver’s License
