One of Australia's most progressive Federal Government departments are looking to engage an experienced Project Managerto support digital capability projects and integration platform projects. You will also work across COTS and Bespoke applications and work closely with Business Analysts, Solution Architects and Testers. The role will be based from Canberrawith the ability to work a few days a week from home as they offer flexible working arrangements. The successful Project Managerwill be offereda 12 month contract with 2 x 12 month extension options.
The successfulProject Managerwill be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Scoping, planning and reporting on assigned projects to agreed standards
- Managing project resources and coordinating with services providers and stakeholders to meet project outcomes
- Management of project risks and escalations
- Guiding project related change including consistent communication to stakeholders
The successful Project Managerwill have experience in the following:
- Project Management certifications
- Experience aligning outcomes, schedules and deliverables to the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
- Experience preparing and managing IT Procurement activities for on-premises cloud
- Experience delivering/supporting IT changes for office relocations (desirable)
