We are seeking two dynamic Project Managers to handle and drive exciting projects within a civil contractor we are representing. You will operate and run a diverse range of projects, including working with local council and/or Department of Transport and Main Roads (DTMR) across South East Queensland & Central Queensland. The second position is working with a major Mining contractor in Central Queensland on multiple legacy projects.
Duties
- Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, including schedules, budgets, and resources allocation.
- Collaborate with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure project requirements are met and relationships are maintained.
- Oversee project quality standards, ensuring adherence to specifications and regulatory requirements.
- Lead and motivate project teams, providing guidance and support to achieve project goals.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, implementing strategies to minimize their impact on project timelines and budgets.
- Monitor project financials, including budget tracking, forecasting, and reporting.
- Ensure all work is conducted in compliance with safety regulations and company policies, promoting a safe working environment.
- Manage project delivery from inception to completion, ensuring timely completion within budget and to the client's satisfaction.
Requirements
- Proven track record in project management.
- Ability to support and implement strategies to deliver successful outcomes.
- Experience in maintaining and monitoring project progress.
- Conducting investigations, and designing solutions to meet project objectives.
- DTMR or Mining experience.
