Our is a leading commercial organization committed to delivering exceptional service through cutting-edge technology solutions. We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Project Manager to lead and deliver IT integration initiatives that will enhance our operational efficiency.

Job Description:

As a Project Manager for IT Integration Initiatives, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the implementation of complex IT projects to enable enhanced integration functionality for the business and their partners. Project could include the following:

  • API gateway upgrade
  • Uplift of infrastructure/ cloud environment to support future state integration needs.
  • Web portal development

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of IT integration projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and strategic goals.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external partners to gather requirements, define project objectives, and establish key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Manage project budgets, monitor expenditures, and ensure financial accountability throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among project team members, stakeholders, and executive leadership.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues, implementing corrective actions as needed to keep projects on track.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices in IT project management and integration.
  • Provide regular status updates, project reports, and presentations to senior management and other stakeholders.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by implementing lessons learned and best practices from previous projects.

Candidate profile:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, specifically within IT integration projects in the aviation or transportation industry.
  • Knowledge of integration and or cloud technologies such as Kafka, EKS, Mircoservices, API's, SOAP
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering complex IT projects in a commercial environment.
  • Strong understanding of IT systems, and integration methodologies.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Trello).
