Leading Managed Services Provider and Systems Integrator is looking for a contract Project Manager for 3 months with potential to extend.
The assignment:
Project manage a major equipment refresh across two Data Centres for core banking platforms.
Includes infrastructure platforms refresh with multiple streams spanning x86 Virtualisation, IBM Power Series, Storage, Core Network & others.
Skills sought:
- Demonstrable Project management experience on refreshing equipment in Data Centre projects.
- Able to manage multiple concurrent projects.
- Project manage outcomes, scope, schedule, budget & quality standards.
- Understanding VMWare x86 virtualisation, storage, IBM Power series (AIX), Netscaler core network, Storage & Backup, Load balancing & Security logging.
- Project manage some 3rd party suppliers.
- MSP experience.
- Hands on & enjoys project managing scope, schedule, costs and details in general.
- Adaptable to your audience (tech or non tech).
Opportunity to work hybrid, whilst one (1) day per week in the Sydney CBD office.
