Job description

The role

As part of our Land & Aerospace group, the Project Manager (Survey and Quote) will be supporting the delivery of quality projects outcomes within JP2060 Support. Primarily this involves the development, submission and execution of Survey and Quote tasks to support the project. This includes project planning and scheduling, resource management, project reporting, and risk management.

Further, the successful candidate will:

  • Implement and manage activities in relation to project needs, including but not limited to:
  • Performance and data Reporting for:
    • Steering Committees
    • Gate reviews
    • Progress Meetings
  • Management Of Survey and Quote Schedule activities and reporting
  • Estimating costs and preparing budgets for Survey and Quote activities.
  • Prepare, monitor and revise project plans, estimates, control accounts and schedules for the project to meet the objectives of project Survey and quote tasks.
  • Liaising with other discipline managers to formulate objectives and understand requirements.
  • Determine amount of necessary resources (workforce, raw materials etc.)
  • Ensure output meets quality standards

Flexible work arrangements such as 9 day fortnight will be considered for this role.

About you

Your skills and experience will include:

  • At least five years’ experience working on systems projects
  • Experienced Project Manager
  • Understanding of quality standards and health & safety regulations
  • Knowledge of performance evaluation and budgeting concepts
  • Proficient in MS Office and ERP software
  • Excellent organizational and leaderships skills
  • Understanding of Australian contract law principles of contractual requirements of large multi-discipline

As Defence security clearance is required for this role, applicants will be required to hold an Australian Defence Security Clearance to NV1 level or have the ability to gain one.
