The Role
As a Project Manager in the Western Region for Waterways & Catchment Delivery, you will report to the Area Manager and collaborate with the Asset Managers of the Growling Grass Frog GGF Masterplan Program. Your main responsibility will involve overseeing the project delivery aspects of land and wetland on-ground works required to deliver the GGF Masterplan programs in Melbourne's urban growth areas. The position, primarily located in Brooklyn, will also require site visits. Key responsibilities include:
- Developing the estimate and overseeing the implementation of planned land and wetland habitat management works including weed control, grass mowing, fence inspections, pest animal controls, litter debris removal, revegetation, woody weed control, access tracks creation or maintenance.
- Conducting on-site quality inspections and reporting.
- Utilizing Melbourne Water's asset management software, Maximo, to generate and issue work orders to contractors.
- Undertaking financial projection and budgeting responsibilities.
- Revising and update job plans.
- Partner with Traditional Owner's to plan and deliver work in a highly sensitive areas.
- Review work orders, lessons learnt and future opportunities for future optimisation, improvement and growth in the delivery of the GGF Masterplan Program over time.

Your Skills and Experience
- Demonstrated experience in the coordination and implementation of delivery, planning and estimation of land/ habitat management /Natural Resource Management activities.
- Strong technical-commercial orientation and financial acumen.
- Exceptional dedication to customer satisfaction and adeptness in managing stakeholders effectively.
- Possesses a mindset geared towards continuous improvement and operational efficiencies.
- Displays a deep passion for biodiversity conservation, as well as a genuine commitment to the preservation of the natural environment and wildlife.
- A degree or diploma in natural resource management, engineering or related discipline.
- Construction Induction Card (advantageous).
- Capable of undergoing Working with Children, Medical, and Police Checks as required.
- A Victorian drivers licence is also required for this role.
Salary: MW EA Level 7 starting at $105,602 plus superannuation
