Effective People have been working with one of our major clients who is responsible for the sustainment of a number of asset and capabilities that utilise ICT in a deployed context.  Our client operates within an IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) and IT Service Management (ITSM) framework to provide sustainment of its allocated products. Sustainment includes technical certification and design, contracting for managed services, logistics, ICT security and finance management of allocated funds in accordance with the relevant agreements between the Capability Manager. The Delivery team, is responsible for Work Take On, testing, Transition into Sustainment and project management activities within the Branch

We are seeking candidates for Five (5) Project Managers are across Multiple Positions. We are seeking Candidates who have the following skills/experience:

  • Has sufficient experience, knowledge, qualifications and ability to prepare successful documentation in support of the project.
  • Established and proven experience managing complex ICT programs and projects in Commonwealth Government environment
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications or relevant industry and/or domain work experience, as well as current and relevant project management experience is mandatory.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skill, with outstanding attention to detail.
  • Ability to evaluate project progress and facilitate interventions
  • Ability to keep stakeholders informed of project timelines and changes. 
  • Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage at all levels of an organisation.
  • Preparing and coordinating program and project artefacts, including reporting, procurement and communications material
  • Competency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Proficiency in project scheduling software, such as MS Project, DevOps, JIRA or similar software
