Our client who is an established MSP with offices in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne are looking at onboarding a talented Network Engineer, to join the Network Services team.Due to recent growth within the industry we are seeking a talented Network Project Engineer to join the team. In this role you will play a crucial part in project delivery and BAU operational tasks acting as a point of escalation.
Your primary responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Project delivery/implementation of Network Solutions
- Customer consultation and assist with design of solutions
- Mentor junior staff and act as a point of escalation
For this role we are seeking someone with the following skills and experience:
- 3-5 year experience in a Network Services Team, carrying out high level implementation tasks
- Strong experience with and indepth knowledge of Fortinet, Juniper and Cisco products
- Strong understanding of network design, including redundancy and security best practices
- In-depth experience with patch management, upgrades and deployments of routers, switches & firewalls (Fortigate, Cisco ASA, Juniper SRX)
- Strong documentation skills
For this role we are seeking people with strong experience across multi Vendor technology however Fortinet being the primary skillset.
Any industry related certifications such as NSE 4, NSE7, CCNP or JNCIP are highly regarded
