The Opportunity
As the Projects & Stakeholder Engagement Manager your role is pivotal in orchestrating the seamless coordination and delivery of projects, ensuring they align with stakeholder needs while strategically benefiting small businesses. Through adept relationship management and program oversight, you’ll drive impactful execution of COSBOA's grants and research initiatives (the projects).
Beyond conventional project management, this role entails managing contractors, nurturing government relationships, and overseeing multifaceted projects (including IR, cyber security, future female entrepreneurs, energy, digitisation and migration), offering a dynamic opportunity to tackle diverse challenges and drive meaningful change in the small business sector.

You’ll exhibit strong relationship-building abilities, capable of fostering strategic partnerships with stakeholders and government entities. With a proactive and adaptable approach, you’ll thrive in dynamic environments, navigating diverse responsibilities with ease while maintaining a focus on driving tangible benefits for small businesses.
Key Responsibilities
- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables
- Oversee project timelines and budgets, ensuring milestones are met
- Provide updates and reports internally and to relevant agencies
- Manage evaluation and auditing processes to ensure project success
- Develop and maintain strategic stakeholder relationships
- Monitor, manage and report on project progress
- Review and update risk management strategies as needed
- Degree in stakeholder management, program management, business management, or equivalent professional experience.
- Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with a diverse stakeholders
- Involvement in organising and facilitating events or stakeholder workshops
- Effective collaboration within small, multidisciplinary teams
- Strong negotiation, troubleshooting, and conflict resolution skills
- Advanced organisational skills with the ability to manage competing deadlines, multiple projects and stakeholder needs
