About the role:
- Creating and executing fun exciting promotions and activations.
- Finding new and unique ways to attract, engage and retain listeners.
- Maintaining an effective level of awareness across the departments required operations, processes and tasks.
- Managing its assets, including 4 motor vehicles.
- Hiring, training, rostering and delegating work to and managing of promotions staff.
- Meeting with the Content Director and Sales Manager to discuss, develop, plan and execute fun and interesting promotions and activations.
- Effectively using and managing company platforms including Smartsheet, Audata & Yammer.
- Managing the stations social media accounts.
- Looking after a calendar of events that captures all station activities.
- Manage and track the allocation and distribution of prizes.
- Develop sales promotional proposals in consultation with the sales manager and the content director.
- Constantly being across new events coming to the market.
About you:
- A professional media or events management background, with proven ability to be creative and innovative.
- The ability to create and deliver compelling commercial and community promotional opportunities.
- First class negotiation and presentation skills.
- Exceptional communication and creative writing skills with an ability to deal with people at all levels both internally and externally.
- Be an inspirational team player capable of working within a fast paced and highly demanding environment.
- Excellent time management and multitasking skills.
- A passion for the media industry.
- The ability to work autonomously in a highly competitive environment.
