This opportunity invites you to become an integral part of a well-respected property team, providing essential support to one director and up to two solicitors, with the possibility of involvement in property settlements.
About the Role:
As a Property Legal Secretary, you will play a pivotal role in the smooth operation of our property division, offering support that is critical to our success. This position is not just about fulfilling tasks but about growing with us. Key Responsibilities:
- Effective liaison with clients to ensure high levels of service and communication.
- Management of diaries, emails, and calendars to support our legal team’s organisation.
- Drafting, editing, and formatting documents and correspondence to maintain professionalism and clarity.
- Conducting conflict checks, opening, closing, and archiving files to ensure compliance and organisation.
- Providing comprehensive administrative support including scanning, photocopying, filing, billing, and addressing billing queries.
Requirements:
- Over 4 years of experience as a Legal Secretary, preferably with a background in property and commercial law.
- An understanding of property settlements and familiarity with Landgate and OSR requirements.
- Experience with leasing documents and a strong attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritise, multitask, and deliver work with a high degree of accuracy.
- Proficiency in MS Office and excellent communication skills.
- A collaborative approach, client-focused mindset, and commitment to exceeding expectations.
Desirable but Not Essential:
- Experience with LEAP Cloud software.
