The Property Maintenance Officer plays a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient operation of our organisation by overseeing and coordinating all maintenance activities. This position requires a detail-oriented, energetic and motivated individual with strong technical, organisational and communication skills.
This role is based in Fortitude Valley with 2 days WFH and limited travel to sites may be required as necessary.
Your role in supporting Anglicare will include:
- Action, prioritise and plan all job requests to achieve agreed Key Performance Indicators
- Schedule preventative, planned and reactive maintenance for all Anglicare SQ properties
- Plan, create, maintain and distribute Work Order documentation to appropriate stakeholders
- Engage and coordinate contractors for specific tasks as required
- Review database and produce regular reporting as required
- Undertake contractor work quality and cost analysis, conduct inspections and ensure efficiencies and best practice
- Evaluation of work costs through invoice review and work order issued
- Provide after hours on-call support as required
- Ensure data is comprehensive, complete and updated in required databases for assets
- Provide reports from the maintenance management system on the status of maintenance activities and minor projects
- Ensure invoices are promptly reviewed, approved for payment and processed as required
What you will bring to the role
- Maintenance and/or facilities management experience within an aged care, community or welfare services setting
- Demonstrated experience in planning and managing minor building projects, including risk management processes
- Ability to effectively communicate instructions to ensure work is conducted in alignment to organisational and legislative requirements
- Ability to respond to changing needs of the business, its customers and its people
- Ability to work well in a small team supporting and learning for others to achieve business goals
- Demonstrated experience in contractor management
- Able to undertake coordination assessment and life cycle analysis
- Knowledge of the Property Maintenance and/or asset management
- Sound skills using Microsoft Office and experience in property/asset maintenance management software programs
- National Police Check
- Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
- White Card
