The Team
Housing Management Services manages approximately 39,000 tenancies across the State. Government Regional Officers Housing (GROH) and Community Housing and Bond Assistance fall under the Division, with close links to Aboriginal Housing.
Whats the Job?
As a Property Services Officer, you will be responsible for managing, controlling and monitoring the property maintenance functions for a designated number of properties within the Housing Management Services area as part of a team. You will play an integral role in making a difference in the lives of some of the most vulnerable people in our community.
Your key role responsibilities will include:
- Inspecting properties and undertaking the required actions to ensure they are maintained and cared for in a way which meets Agency and statutory requirements.
- Inspecting completed works ensuring contract compliance, accountability, and quality control are maintained.
- Communicating face to face, by phone and in writing on a daily basis with a diverse group of stakeholders including: tenants, real estate agents, contractors, government agencies, local authorities and Departmental staff is required to ensure that an excellent customer focused service is delivered.
- Working in a manner consistent with Departmental practices, policies and values,
