The Role

Due to continued growth of the organisation, we are seeking an experienced Proposals and Quoting Coordinator to efficiently develop Proposals and quotes for existing and potential clients.  

This is a great opportunity for an experienced person in the trade & services industries to share and expand on their skills & knowledge with internal sales and Quoting.

This is a full-time role based at our office in Maitland NSW. Hours of work are 8am-4:30pm with flexibility available for the right candidate. 

Salary range is $78,000-$85,000 plus superannuation which will be negotiable based on skills & experience.

The Key responsibilities of this role are:

• Providing quotes and enquiry responses to existing & potential clients. 
• Liasing with stakeholders on all things quoting such as approvals, receiving purchase orders and responding to invoice enquiries.
• Follow up with potential business leads and develop & maintain excellent client relationships. 
• Provide support for tender preparation, distribution and response.
• Associated duties including updating cost management spreadsheets, updating costing/scope changes with client approval, filing of proposals/quotes, maintenance of the client database & contract support.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant WHS, quality and environmental management procedures and controls.

Skills, Experience & Requirements required to fulfill this role:

• Minimum 3 – 5 years’ experience in a sales quoting or contract role.
• Tertiary qualifications relevant to the role.
• Excellent work ethic including but not limited to pride in work, reliability, professional presentation, and punctuality.
• Ability to work effectively and efficiently unsupervised.
• A high level of communication, interpersonal, leadership, and people management skills.
• Ability to effectively negotiate and influence others.
• Sound knowledge of information technology and relevant legislation and regulations.
