About the position
We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Proposals Coordinator to join our Reef Catchments team in an exciting role that will lead to the creation of exceptional NRM Proposals across the organisation.
Reports to: Program Director.
The position will be responsible for:
- Developing and writing compelling and compliant proposals, grants, EOIs, and tenders, ensuring accuracy and clarity whilst achieving consistency in messaging.
- Creating persuasive narratives, proposals and grants that highlight our organisations strengths, capabilities, and proven track record in natural resource management.
- Building and enhancing proposal and grant writing skills of the Reef Catchment team.
- Working closely with the Reef Catchments team including management, strategy and partnerships, operations, and finance to gather relevant information and insights for proposal and grant development.
- Gathering input, ideas, concepts and contributions from across the organisation, and external partners and stakeholders.
About you
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with proven experience in proposal and grant writing, and a good ratio of applications submitted to won and contracted.
- Skills and experience in developing ideas and concepts and translating this to produce professional and compelling proposal content and grants for submission.
- Have excellent time management and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities effectively.
- A positive, motivated, flexible, can-do attitude with the ability to be creative and think outside of the box.
- Experience training, developing and coaching others.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and requirements in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Ability to work both autonomously and effectively as part of a team.
