We are seeking highly motivated Prosecutions leaders to join our Fraud and Criminal Behaviours (FCB) business area.In FCB, we drive holistic solutions to counter deliberate, systemic or complex behavioural issues that pose the biggest threats to the integrity of the tax and super systems.Our Prosecutions area plays a vital role in achieving a fair and equitable taxation system, providing legal advice in relation to complex legal questions on criminal matters and associated procedural events.We prosecute offences including:breach of requirements to lodge, mainly Income Tax Returns and Business Activity Statementsbreach of requirements to provide informationrecklessly making a false or misleading statement offencefailure to withhold offencesAs a Prosecutions Director, in FCB, you’ll contribute to complex and sensitive projects or work programs that have strategic, political or operational significance.You will play an important role in shaping the prosecutions direction by establishing strategic partnerships and applying a tactical focus to prosecutions compliance activities.You will lead multiple teams, manage employee performance and ensure high quality outputs are delivered to support compliance strategies.This role may require overnight travel and a current Australian driver’s licence is essential.These roles may be offered on an ongoing or non-ongoing basis in Adelaide, Albury, Brisbane CBD, Canberra, Dandenong, Melbourne CBD, Newcastle, Perth, Sydney CBD or Townsville.We embrace the strength of diversity – through our people and the experiences they bring with them.
