- Salary $86,950 - $100,729 p.a. (pro rata) AHP2 | Part Time - 33.75 hours p.w. – Contract until January 2025

About the Role:
The Older Persons Mental Health unit at Flinders Medial Centre is a 30-bed unit that provides treatment and support for people living in the southern metropolitan Adelaide area. The successful applicant will be responsible for providing specialised psychology services for older adults with complex psychological disorders and will apply their specialised expertise in the area of psychology and ageing to develop and deliver continually improving clinical services.
About you:
- Must hold an appropriate Degree or equivalent qualification and general registration with the Psychology Board of Australia.
- Experience working with consumers with complex Mental Health presentations.
- Experience working with older adults and clients from a range of cultural-linguistic backgrounds.
- Demonstrated ability to employ a range of strategies to effectively resolve conflict.
- Demonstrated competence in the application of a wide range of psychological assessment and therapeutic interventions to clients with complex needs.
