Role and Responsibilities
The Lead Instructor role reports to the Manager Training Capability (MAT) for the mentoring, succession planning and professional development of all PSTC training capability employees. The role will be primary point of contact for the Training Centre Manager and PSTC Chief Instructors in relation to instructional training delivery, and associated workplace safety related matters of the instructional team.
This role will be based across the Sydney Region, responsible to Randwick Barracks and Waterhen as well as Homebush Head Office when required.
The role we are offering you

- Drive and improve business efficiency and balancing productivity, quality and safety in an optimum manner in support of the PGM/TCM.
- Promote and executes CAE’s Quality Management System
- Manage feedback on customer satisfaction, expectations and requirements
Our ideal candidate has:
- Tertiary education in a related field and/or relevant work experience
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE 40116/40122)
- Strong experience and knowledge in Approach to Defence Learning (SADL) and Instructional Systems Design
- Prior experience managing instructors in an ADF technical training centre.

Security requirements
As the Australian Department of Defence is a major client, you must be eligible for SECRET (NV1) level Defence security clearance, and preferably already hold a current SECRET (NV1) clearance.
