The Hospital:
This is Australia's second oldest hospital opening in 1804, and is a major clinical teaching and research centre working closely with the University of Tasmania and other institutions. The hospital provides acute, sub acute, mental health and aged care inpatient and ambulatory services to a population of about 240,000 people and has 550 physical beds, including 460 acute overnight and 90 day beds.
The Role:
Work within a multidisciplinary health team to facilitate the comprehensive assessment, planning and implementation of appropriate clinical management for persons who are dependent on or who have problems related to the use of alcohol and or other drugs.
