This position is part of the developing psychology team delivering a range of services across Redcliffe Hospital. Psychology services delivered to the adult population include inpatient and outpatient-based care. The current advertising is seeking an experienced clinician to support inpatient case load across the hospital. This involves varied clinical experiences including:
- High level evidence-based assessment, brief intervention as well as preparing behaviour support plans with individual admitted to Redcliffe Hospital for medical care;
- liaising with wider MDT (including medical, nursing and allied health)
- to educate and collaborate with staff to support patient psychological well-being during an admission;
- to support complex discharge planning
- provision of clinical supervision for students on placement, and less experienced staff
