The AODS multidisciplinary team provides a range of services for people experiencing substance use problems in a harm minimisation framework. This service incorporates a collection of community-based programs that provide structured individual support, therapeutic intervention, and team case management for consumers with Alcohol and drug related challenges and associated mental health issues. This position involves providing high quality care to consumers through comprehensive assessment and specialised psychological treatments, as well as a focus on staff development through education, supervision, and organisation of in-service training.Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service (SCHHS) is in southeast Queensland and extends through the coastal and hinterland areas from Caloundra in the south and Gympie in the north.The SCHHS is a values-based organisation. - Deliver independent high level Psychology clinical practice with infrequent need for direct clinical practice supervision. Exercise professional judgement to a complex caseload, adapting routine clinical practice based on valid and reliable evidence.
- Provide high level clinical advice, education and influence towards a common patient-centred vision and direction to professional operational teams and relevant stakeholders regarding service delivery.
- Provide leadership oversight and clinical practice supervision to less experienced Psychology practitioners and students as delegated.
