Position
- Conduct assessments, report writing, and concise progress notes.
- Collaborate and refer to appropriate services to provide social and practical supports to clients.
- Engage effectively with individuals and families to identify goals.
- Identify at-risk behaviours and take appropriate steps to ensure safety and security. Previous experience providing individual and group therapeutic interventions for children, adolescents, adults, and people with disabilities and developmental delays.
- Maintain client caseload.
Work Experience
- Master’s degree in Psychotherapy with supervised clinical experience.
- Experience providing relationship and trauma-informed psychotherapy to individuals impacted by trauma and abuse including people with disabilities.
- Provide individual and group therapeutic interventions for children, adolescents, and adults.
- Communicating effectively with clients with mental health issues and complex needs. Ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Understanding of working with National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) participants and consumers.
Required
- 5-years’ experience
- A valid driver’s licence.
- Current Working with Vulnerable People Card National Police Check
