Supplying to some of Australia’s biggest mining organisations, your new company manufactures industrial de-watering pumps to assist with their client’s operations in Western Australia and Queensland. This company places a great emphasis on team culture and boasts a very high retention rate within their tight-knit team. Currently undergoing an increase in demand, your new company is looking to welcome a Pump Fitter with a great attitude to join their team.
Your new role
Reporting to the workshop manager, your new role will see you completing a variety of day-to-day duties, including the below:
- Daily pump fitting duties
- Daily repair jobs, hydrostatic testing, painting and new pump system builds
- Fitting of pipework, values and associated equipment
- Clean workshop and work area as required
- Packing, despatching, loading and unloading of trucks
What you'll need to succeed
- Relevant Trade Qualification (Cert 3 or 4 Engineering Fabrication or Fitter and Turner)
- Experience in a similar pump fitting position
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Be able to take responsibility for complying with the organisation’s policies, processes and procedures, including health & safety and customer service
