The Pumphouse Manager reporting to the Team Leader Cultural Activation is a key position in delivering the strategic vision of The Pumphouse and will focus on positioning the facility within the broader creative economy on a regional level. It will establish The Pumphouse as a reputable, effective and sustainable cultural organisation for the Albury region and beyond. This position will be responsible for operational delivery of The Pumphouse and ensuring the realisation of the facility’s goals.

Qualifications & experience
- Tertiary qualification in Arts, Project Management, Business Management or a related discipline or equivalent, relevant work experience.
- Class C (standard) Driver's Licence (compulsory to have & maintain)
- Experience in the development of new business operations/start up
- Experience in the management of a multi-disciplinary team
- Demonstrated experience in management of cultural enterprises
- Deliver operations for the Pumphouse and ensure the realisation of the facility’s goals.
- Facilitate opportunities to build the capacity of artists and makers to grow sustainable businesses; including development of education and activity programs artist in residence program and events.
- Support and develop a network of artists and makers that can connect, collaborate and share knowledge and sills.
- Engage with external stakeholders including artists, makers, program partners and clients and internal AlburyCity stakeholders as required.
- Secure funding / sponsorship to support special programs including artist residencies and events.
- Develop, promote and manage online retail.
Hours
Based on 35 hours per week, working 35 hours across a 7-day spread, with actual days and times being worked in accordance with roster, with an RDO in accordance with AlburyCity’s RDO guidelines. Hours worked on weekends will attract the appropriate loadings.
