Role Details:

Reporting to the Unit Manager, Supply Service Delivery, your main responsibility will be to coordinate and monitor the activities of the Purchasing team, whilst directly working towards ensuring that the purchasing requirements of the perspective maintenance and production teams are met in a timely, cost-effective manner.

This role is offered on a 9-day fortnight roster at our Perth corporate office on a permanent basis. For this role we will consider full-time, part0time or job share options.

About the role:

• Provide leadership and direction to the Purchasing team, including and allocating of work activities within the purchasing team.
• Over see the purchasing process in line with the GFA Procurement policy, SOX requirements and coordinate the generation and delivery of compliance reports to auditors as required.
• Provide a focal point for influencing the wider GFA business in the requirements that allow the Purchasing team to better service the business.
• Coordinate Purchasing input into Supply Chain projects and system-based enhancements by working in conjunction with the Unit Manager: Supply Service Delivery.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance Purchasing procedures and work instructions with a focus on information technology and applications.

About you:

• Proven extensive experience in a similar role
• Experience in development and review of work instructions and procedures relating to Purchasing
• Experience in SAP Materials Management module
• Valid WA C Driver's License
